What a year this has been.
Having been ill for 3 months earlier this year means that I still feel like I am lagging behind where I want to be.
With 2025 almost over it is almost time to look back over the year. 2025 brought tears, sickness, hardships, joy and so much more into my life. It is the year that Anchor and Ember was born, the year my men’s small group ministry started. Take a few minutes and think about the past 11 months. What has God been doing in your heart this year? For many this has been a difficult year.
I have so many dreams for 2026 and beyond, today I place them in God’s hands – knowing that without Him I really can do nothing.
Healing takes time, breathe and say those three words out loud. Healing takes time. I’ve often wanted to rush through things, but God meets me where the hurt is and doesn’t rush healing.
1 Peter 5:7 “Cast all your anxiety on him [God] because he cares for you.” NIV
Your pain and your wounds don’t intimidate God, give Him the chance to sit with you as you process 2025.
